GUIDELINES
• Each entry MUST have some type of sponsorship or representation/connection to Coldwater and contact person who will be responsible and held accountable for all individuals associated with your entry.
• ABSOLUTELY NO float, with the exception of the final parade float, will have a Santa
Claus.
• Entries must be less than 14’ in height from the ground.
• ONLY Christmas music is allowed to be played in the parade.
• Walking groups must be active (caroling, baton twirling, juggling, marching, and dancing). DO NOT stop along the parade route to perform. ***Groups may not be allowed to participate in future parades if a group stops on the parade route.***
• NO loud shocking noises, bull horns, explosives, etc.
• NO motorcycles or vehicles are allowed to perform any type of stunts.
• NO smoking or alcoholic beverages or promotion of such are allowed on any entry.
• Floats must be constructed of fire-resistant material, and there shall be NO LIVE FIRES.
• Parade participants MAY NOT exit off or out of the vehicle until reaching the end of the route.
• NO parade participants shall throw any items to the parade viewers. No candy, beads, etc. allowed.
• NO entrant shall encourage any viewer to gather around or follow the entry in any fashion that may cause harm or distract other parade viewers.
• Any mechanical failures or breakdowns are your responsibility. If there are any animals or livestock as part of your entry, entrants are responsible for all clean up.
• Standing in the bed or sitting in the sides of pick-up trucks is not allowed. All pick up trucks MUST have adult supervision walking alongside & must stay at least 6 feet from the side of the float.

Registration Information:
• Each entrant must complete a Parade Application and complete the description of entry.
• Entry must be received with applications in person BEFORE being included in the official parade line-up.
Line Up and General Instructions for Parade Day:
• Line up begins at 5:30 P.M. Please be in your place by 6:30 P.M. The parade will begin promptly at 7:00.
